You sure know how to get the "food for thought" going Brian. Not that I hadn't thought about the Classic this way before but it never gets old.
I'm a huge Rachel Alexandra fan and her Fleur de Lis was more than just reassuring, it makes me think she is just as good as she was last year. Each race this year she has become faster and stronger so I think she will be a monster once again this summer and fall.
It's hard to imagine Zenyatta losing, and the only thing that might defeat her is if a quality horse that can carry their speed into the stretch and extend their advantage to the wire enters the Classic. Quality Road and Rachel Alexandra both have that same style.
