Love American Style

While the world awaits her next race at Hollywood Park, ZATT has learned some juicy information from reliable and trustworthy sources, about the undefeated Queen of Racing.  Apparently Zenyatta has her eye on a beau.  His name is Indian Charlie, and truth be told, he's a bit of a player.

Tall, dark, and handsome, Charlie is an older man who still can make the girls swoon.  I sincerely hope Zen knows what she is getting into because there is no doubt that Charlie has been around the block a few times.  Stories of Charlie's exploits with the fairer sex have become legendary in the bluegrass.  I have even obtained Jockey Club papers which list Indian Charlie as the father of children all over the world.  Needless to say Queen Zen would not be his first romantic tango, and this writer for one, is quite skeptical that she will be his last

News of this forthcoming hook-up has reached Ireland, and apparently has Sea the Stars in a bit of a tizzy.  Handlers say he has barely touched his feed bucket in days.  Meanwhile back in America, I have learned that Giant's Causeway is in a state of denial and refuses to believe that Zenyatta could ever be with another man

More on this breaking story will come soon, but for now I leave you with the following questions ... Will Giant's Causeway need an equine shrink?  Can Sea the Stars ever be satisfied with 150 mares next year if Zenyatta is not among them.  Can Indian Charlie change his ways and become a one-woman man?  Will Zenyatta play hard to get one more time, and choose to race again next year?

Going for the older more accomplished type. Not surprising, since Zenyatta probably does not want her first suiter to an untried young prince. She wants an more experienced king.

This is brilliant, Brian. ;) Very fun article. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a brawl to find the guy that gets to be with Zen.

I would imagine some of the qualifications would be that he likes to go for long runs and LOVES dancing, and he's gotta like BIG girls...not to mention whoever the lucky guy is he may need the help of the mound in the breeding shed.

Nice article, Brian. There's a longshot chance that Zen's baby and Rachel's baby might just meet up and do what their moms didn't do. I just hope these leading ladies can pass their brilliance to their offsprings. As far as another year for Zen? I'd say it's a 99-1 shot, but I thought she'd retire last year. Brian, please join us at Hollywood Park on Oct 2nd! It will be California's last chance to see her race here. It may be the last time we see her live, except for her multiple retirement parties at SA and Hol. And I hope you great east coast fans can somehow get into Churchill Downs for the BC. It will be the greatest one ever!

Thanks for the kind words all. Of course this was meant to be a wee bit silly, but don't be too surprised if Charlie is the one next breeding season. Thanks Mandy, you made me laugh, and Mark, I will not be able to make it for the Lady's Secret, but I will be front row center to see her at the Breeders' Cup!

Another exciting episode of As The Shedrow Turns!
And I predict that Zen's Causeway baby will bring in about $6 mil @ the Keeneland sale!!
Oh, wow, just realized I named the baby!! :D
(The Jockey Club can just go ahead and register it now and save time! ;)

I would love to see her mated to a horse like Curlin, Einstein or A.P. Indy who all showed stamina, Speed, strength and soundness. Curlin and Einstein are the unproven sires at this point but still could be worth taking a chance.
