Hansan had good reason to be in a celebratory mood after winning his first National Handicapping Tour event, and clinching it in the grandest of styles. Hansan let it all ride on the Classic, placing his remaining bankroll of $7,300 on the nose of Blame, who would reward the handicapper’s faith with a thrilling win in one of the greatest races in American history.
