*I won just under half of my lifetime starts, and I won at least twice in each of my four seasons of racing. *I was bred in a country where I never once ran, even though I competed in four different nations. *My mom majestically soared over the water, but my dad preferred things dry. *I failed to be competitive and cash a check only once in my career. Unfortunately, it was in the richest race I ever ran, and also the longest. *My last six races were all grade/group ones; I won the first, but lost the rest. *I raced at 11 different tracks, and other than in Paris, I never raced at the same place twice in a row. *Never afraid to carry weight, my average impost was just a shade under 127 pounds. *It was more of the usual in my final career start, as I came running late. *I spread out my three most important victories, with one in each of my final three seasons. *My victories came on two different surfaces, although I won ten times as much on one surface than the other. *Interesting tidbit on my trainer and jockey … they shared the same initials. You should know by now … Who Am I ??? |

Yes I did, the jockey that rode in him in almost every start the past few years.
It is I Scott "cosmo" Dick conquering the elusive who Am I with Paco Boy!
Ahhh ... Congrats Scott 'Cosmo' Dick!!! You are this week's champ!
You threw me off with the initials! Congrats on the win Cosmo!
I was barking up the wrong tree anyway, but didn't he also fail to pick up a check in the French 2000 Guineas?
Susie is right. Paco finished 7th in the French 2000 Guineas, along with his aforementioned 8th in the Dubai Duty Free (as the clue stated).
You got me Susie, there was a mistake. I thought he was 4th in the Poule d'Essai des Poulains of 2008, but actually he was 7th. My apologies for the mistake.
