Bold moves create big questions. Will the Million Dollar Meet be the future of racing? Or will the big plan not be what it’s cracked up to be, further weakening the sport on the East Coast? One thing is for sure, all of racing will be tuned in to watch Monmouth Park’s risky endeavor of shortening the race week to three days while offering 50 million dollars in purses over a 50 day race meet beginning today. Brian, you could have added in parenthesis next to will-"MUST". The horseplayers must unite and send a strong message that large fields and less racing will be supported by all. I know I purposely spent more on Monmouth races yesterday even though I was at Pimlico with LIVE racing.

Let's hope Monmouth is a success but todays card is not as good as the opener. Made money on opening day for once, so let's play hard and have some fun.
