Tracking a Champion

Is this the type of campaign you would like to see your favorite horse contest? Does this resume make Blind Luck a legitimate Horse of the Year candidate?

  Result – 1st by a nose.
Race – March 6, 2010 – Santa Anita – Santa Anita Oaks (GrI)
  Result – 3rd by a ½ length.
Race – April 2, 2010 – Oaklawn Park – Fantasy Stakes (GrII)
  Result – 1st by 2 ½ lengths.

I think she is underrated to be honest. I do not think she'll get it, and many people would scoff if you mentioned her with some of the other contenders, but she has had by far, one of the toughest seasons. The only horse I would say has had one similar is Lookin At Lucky. The horse has run five times this year and not once has he run at the same track or even the same state! These two horses are what racing is all about.

I think so. In my opinion her races stack up against most because she has faced some quality opponents, traveled extensively and won on different surfaces and track conditions. I think she is 2nd behind Blame at this point.
